Navigating the Fourth Trimester Video Series

Fee: Free

Presented by Sharp Mary Birch and Sharp Mesa Vista

You have a birth plan, but do you have a postpartum recovery plan? Prioritizing your physical and mental healing after delivery is just as important as you take on the challenges of parenthood.

This on demand video series is led by a Sharp HealthCare urogynecologist and licensed social worker who will help you navigate the recovery process that occurs during the “fourth trimester" — the first three months after birth. Included is a section for both parents led by a licensed marriage and family therapist that goes over ways to prepare your relationship with your partner and yourself as you add a new baby and their routine to your dynamic.

You will learn:

  • How to set yourself up for success by understanding your postpartum body
  • Recognize symptoms of common postpartum conditions
  • Navigate you and your partner’s mental health during this time
  • Find ways to prepare your relationship for the dynamic shift

Following your enrollment, you will receive an email confirmation that includes a link to the videos. That link will provide access to view the content at your convenience.
