This two-hour course is required for all new nursing faculty and instructors who oversee students at a Sharp HealthCare facility (including Sharp employees). If this is the first time you will facilitate a clinical group at Sharp, this course is for you.
Returning instructors
If you are a returning instructor, you are required to attend an annual one-hour virtual meeting with the faculty orientation coordinator. Please go to Returning Faculty Annual Check In for more information and to register.
If you are overseeing students in a preceptorship or leadership clinical experience, you are not required to take this course.

Parking Information
Parking is available in the Spectrum visitor parking lot in front of the building. From Spectrum Center Boulevard, enter the lot through Gate 1. Take a ticket if prompted to. The front desk will validate the ticket after class..
Special Instructions
Prior to class, please complete the following:
- Between 7-10 business days prior to class, email your INDALA Badge Request Form and headshot with plain background to learningprograms.faculty@sharp.com. A badge is required to complete Nova StatStrip training during orientation.
- Complio requirements.
- Orientation to clinical unit.
Arrival
This class takes place in the Caster Nursing Institute's second-floor classroom. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to sign in.
Course Recommendations
Please complete this course and all special instructions at least 2-3 weeks prior to your first on-site clinical day.
