Stop the Bleed Training Class
Learn how to stop bleeding and save lives in an emergency situation at this hourlong class.
Presented by Sharp Memorial Hospital
Initiated in 2015 by the White House, Stop the Bleed is a national campaign designed to raise awareness about what you can do to stop life-threatening bleeding in the event of an everyday emergency or a man-made or natural disaster before professional help can arrive.
This free class for Sharp HealthCare employees teaches the basic techniques of bleeding control, including interventions for hemorrhage control and how to properly apply a tourniquet. Participants will receive a completion certificate at the end of the course.
