The Sharp HealthCare Executive Leadership team has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2016 Sharp HealthCare All-Staff Assemblies. The disappointment that this decision brings to thousands of Sharp HealthCare employees, physicians and volunteers weighs heavily.

As you may know, Sharp is currently involved in negotiations with the Sharp Professional Nursing Network/United Nurses Association of California (Union). The union has given Sharp numerous formal and informal notifications of their intent to engage in publicity activities, handbilling, bannering and other actions at the San Diego Convention Center during the Assemblies. This disruption is not conducive to The Sharp Experience All-Staff Assemblies Sharp HealthCare has planned and that our attendees expect.  We will not put our employees, physicians, volunteers and guests in a position that could compromise the event’s purpose or the celebration and recognition the Sharp family deserves.

Over the next several months, Sharp HealthCare teams will be working to provide a different and unique Sharp Experience celebration to honor each and every one of our employees, physicians and volunteers and their amazing work and contributions.
