If you're experiencing an overwhelming sense of fear and worry before, during and after your cancer scans, you are not alone. This free workshop will discuss "scanxiety," which is an uneasiness associated with waiting for the results of cancer scans. A licensed clinical oncology social worker will provide proven tips and strategies for managing your fear of cancer recurrence.
Advanced registration is required. Your loved ones are also encouraged to attend.

Presenter Information
Linda Hutkin-Slade, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C, is a licensed clinical oncology social worker at Sharp Grossmont Hospital's Center for Cancer Treatment. She has an extensive background in programming for cancer patients and their loved ones.
