*Please be advised that this is a skill-based competency check-off session. Attendees should be prepared to fully participate in session activities including demonstration of proper body mechanics and correct usage of patient mobilization equipment during simulated patient transfers with Injury Prevention staff. Employees who are unable to fully participate in session activities should register once they are cleared to mobilize patients.

These safe patient mobilization checkoff sessions are open to Sharp Grossmont Hospital clinical employees only. Employees will need to demonstrate competency of the safe patient mobilization program and equipment to the injury prevention program staff.

This class is not intended for Sharp Staffing Resource Network (SRN) employees. They should attend the Safe Patient Handling and Mobilization Training Class for SRN Employees instead.
