The Nurse Leader's Guide to Workforce Strategy. Learn tested tactics and technology supported ideas for scaling clinical expertise, promoting top-of-license care, and strengthening the comprehensive nursing team.
Key Lessons:
Turnover and churn in the nursing workforce will continue, and it is critical to find ways to support newer, less-experienced nurses’ journey to clinical competency.
Nurse aides are essential to the care team, but their needs are often overlooked. Leaders must understand what drives aide-level staff in order to facilitate top-of license practice at all levels.
Technology must be seen as a critical member of the care team, and its role in nursing care delivery will continue to increase.
