Presented by Sharp HealthCare
This virtual workshop is for Sharp HealthCare leaders who are ready to build their skills in managing systems and people to achieve better outcomes. The course reviews all the elements that contribute to a just culture, including clear values and expectations, robust process design and management, coaching, transparency and learning, cause analysis and accountability.
Participants will practice using the Just Culture Algorithm on real-world scenarios to help them determine the most appropriate action to take in managing systems and people.
At the end of this workshop, employees will be able to:
- Identify why Just Culture is critical to our safety and reliability culture at Sharp
- Demonstrate how to assess behaviors thoughtfully and skillfully using the Just Culture Algorithm to determine the best course of action after an event has occurred
- Describe key considerations when coaching employees in making safe choices
- Apply Just Culture principles to scenarios that involve repetitive human error and repetitive at-risk behaviors
Please note that there is an optional self-paced Just Culture for Managers virtual training (approximately 3-4 hours in length) that you can enroll in. This training from the Just Culture company will provide an excellent overview of just culture and the algorithm. This $129 training will be billed to your home department's cost center.
