I treat children as I would like my child treated. I became a physician because I am community oriented and enjoy making a positive impact on other people's lives. November 11, 2024Dr. Berent is amazing. We have a child with ADHD who is medicated (med causes loss of appetite) and she is losing weight. At almost 13, we worried it was a choice to stay thin rather than her med, and Dr. Berent handle it very nicely without judgement. Body image for a tween almost teen is a very big issue. He trusted presence ensured she listened to the importance of nourishing her body, and this weekend she ate more! We are very thankful for Dr. B!
