Gain valuable knowledge and insights during our free, monthly, in-person class dedicated to lymphedema awareness and education. This class is designed for individuals at risk of developing lymphedema or those who have just been diagnosed. If you have had or plan to have surgery for cancer resulting in the loss of lymph nodes or radiation therapy you may find this class useful in improving your well-being:
In this class, you will:
- Learn about the causes and risk factors of lymphedema
- Understand how to identify early signs and symptoms
- Discover effective strategies for prevention and self-care
- Gain insights into treatment options
- Receive practical tips for managing daily activities with lymphedema
- Interact with experienced health care professionals and fellow participants
This class is designed for individuals at risk of developing lymphedema or those who have been diagnosed. If you have had surgery for cancer resulting in loss of lymph nodes or radiation, you may find this class useful in improving your well-being.
Parking without validation is free up to 60 minutes, and is $4 per hour thereafter. Please park in the Sharp Mary Birch Parking Structure; also referred to as the "Stork Parking Structure" in front of Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns.

Parking Information
Parking is available in the structure on Health Center Drive. Parking fees may apply. Due to construction impacting our front entrance, patient pickup and drop-off is now located on the north side of our building.

This class is offered monthly, second Tuesday of the month from 12 to 1 pm
Arrival
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the class to ensure time for parking and locating the classroom.
Please park in the Sharp Mary Birch Parking Structure. Exit the parking structure on the north side and proceed towards Mary Birch.
The James S. Brown Outpatient Pavillion is the building just to the left of the Sharp Mary Birch hospital entrance. Proceed inside and the classroom in on the first floor immediately to your left down a short hall. Classroom A.
