Sharp Rees-Stealy self-screening process

At Sharp Rees-Stealy, we've implemented a more streamlined approach to ensuring our facilities are safe for all.

Our self-screening process will save time since you will be able to self-screen before entering any Sharp Rees-Stealy clinic for appointments or other needs such as visiting the pharmacy.

It is recommended to wear a well-fitted mask that covers your nose and mouth at all times while you are in our clinics, especially if you have a medical condition that puts you at a higher risk for severe measles infections.

Before arriving, answer the following questions:

  1. In the last 21 days, have you experiencing any of the following symptoms?

    • Fever with cough, runny nose and red, watery eyes

    • Rash that starts on the face and spreads

  2. In the last 21 days, have you been exposed to someone with a contagious disease, such as COVID-19, chicken pox, tuberculosis (TB), monkeypox or measles?

  3. Have you traveled outside of San Diego County in the last 21 days? If yes, please provide the location and dates of travel.

If you answered NO to all questions, please proceed to the clinic on the date and time of your appointment or for other needs such as visiting the pharmacy or lab.

If you answered YES to any of these questions, do not come to our clinics. Call your doctor or the department you were planning to visit and we will determine the safest way for you to receive care. If you are not experiencing a medical emergency, schedule a virtual visit with a Sharp Rees-Stealy physician who will assess your symptoms, provide medical guidance and help determine the best next steps.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping all of us safe.
