Maintain continuity of care
Sharp Link enables clinicians to close the loop on patient referrals to Sharp. Clinicians who receive referrals from Sharp also benefit from quick access to patient charts.Refer patients
Electronically refer patients and schedule hospital-based procedures.Place clinical orders
Providers can place consult, lab, and radiology orders, reducing schedulers' workload and bringing patients in for needed care.Receive real-time notifications
Sign up to get real-time notifications of certain events, such as emergency room visits, admissions, discharges and transfers. Users choose which events and patients to follow.
If you meet one of the following criteria, then we recommend you request new user access for Sharp Link.
Physician sees patient in hospital and sometimes in clinic: Clinic will need Sharp Link
Physician clinic has remote access (MA, office manager, referral coordinator, biller): Clinic staff will require Sharp Link
If your clinic currently has Cerner view-only or provider portal access: Clinic will need Sharp Link
Physician sees patient only in the hospital and clinic staff need access to chart, charge or follow-up: Clinic staff will need Sharp Link
If you do not have an offsite clinic to see Sharp patients, please contact us so we can assist you.
