About Avani Verma, DO
I am a family medicine physician with training in outpatient, inpatient and emergency care. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages, with a special interest in preventive care, lifestyle medicine, mental and behavioral health, and helping patients set achievable goals for nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management and overall well-being. My background also includes integrative medicine training through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, as well as research experience in biochemistry, cell biology, colorectal cancer screening and quality improvement in primary care. I strive to provide compassionate, evidence-based care and partner with each patient to support their long-term health. I am fluent in English and Hindi and conversational in Punjabi.
