The Nursing Excellence Award Ceremony recognizes and rewards all our registered and licensed vocational nurses for the special contributions they make at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center.
This year we are illuminating nursing excellence at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. We shine a light on all our outstanding nurses who embody the spirit of the Sharp experience through their care and compassionThis event will honor nurse of the year, clinical nurse and nurse leader award winners for going above and beyond to provide the very best in patient care.
Registration is open to executives, directors, nurses, managers, all Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center nurses and family members of the nominees.
Appetizer, grand dinner buffet and dessert will be provided.

Ceremony Schedule:
- 4:00: Registration
- 4:00-4:45 Cocktail hour and appetizers
- 5:00 Ceremony
- 6:00-8:00: Dinner Buffet
- 7:00-930 Dance
Arrival
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early and drive through the main gate, past the security officer into the parking lot. Parking space is limited. Street parking is available.
